Uncle Ruckus: Bio, Age, Life, Character, Anime

Uncle Ruckus is the real villain of the famous Adult Swim animated adaptation of the comic strip The Boondocks. He is an African-American guy with disproportionate eyes who is self-conscious, overweight, and unattractive. He is regarded as the main villain due to his nature and hatred for African-Americans, as well as being the most repeated character in the show, despite being an infrequent protagonist/anti-hero. He constantly states, “My name is Uncle Ruckus, no relation.” because of his own name & yet no other connection (blood or otherwise) to all other people. He is also Huey’s archenemy & Robert’s on-again, off-again friend. Gary Anthony Williams, who also ended up playing Smart Brother in the 2002 movie Undercover Brother & Bebop, gave his voice.

Overview of Uncle Ruckus

Uncle Ruckus is a self-hating, overweight, homely African American guy with disproportionate eyes who also advocates for Caucasians. As per “The Color Ruckus,” he was born to a Caucasian household but developed re-vitiligo (the inverse of a skin condition that singer Michael Jackson had) and was accepted (in reality, biologically) by an Afro-American household. Each day, Mister Ruckus beat him up. He has a prosthetic eye as a result of his father’s slapping. Even after his antipathy toward black people, he appears to be friendly with Robert Freeman.

Uncle Ruckus Biography

Uncle Ruckus was born on July 4, 1939, and has spent his whole life dismissing black people as the country’s greatest “Uncle Tom.” He is an overweight, homely guy with disproportionate eyes who enjoys affiliating himself as often as conceivable from those other African Americans (who he observes as evil human beings) and is vocal in his assistance of what Huey refers to as the “white supremacist structure of power.” He expresses African American Slang English in the show. Uncle Ruckus is a play on Uncle Remus as well as Uncle Tom. He is the show’s darkest-skinned protagonist. His name is also a nod to Amos Rucker, an African-American part of the United Confederate Veterans who supposedly wanted to remain a slave after the American Civil War.

His anger of black people stems from his white supremacist (black) mom, who educated him white history & told Ruckus untruths about black people’s success, such as stating that George Washington Carver was the person who is responsible for the most peanut allergy causalities.

Uncle Ruckus Personality

Uncle Ruckus’ presence, behaviour, and attitude are repulsive, rebarbative, and deeply offensive. He has an extreme hatred for everything related to black citizens and goes to great lengths to rid himself of this belonging; Ruckus alleged God says the way to forgiveness for being black is to reprimand his own race.

Ruckus is a strong believer in racially insensitive & insensitive attacks, hurling hatred and bigotry at everything black. Ruckus is a fan of white culture and society, which is why he chooses to live in Woodcrest. Ruckus likes the smell of white people, describing them as “lemon juice & Pledge furniture cleaner.”

Trivia

  • Uncle Ruckus is shown to resemble Eric Cartman. Both are overweight as well as racist people who serve as the main protagonist’s archenemies while also serving as an on-again, off-again ally. Both of them get engaged in crazy schemes and also have a strong hatred for a certain community (Uncle Ruckus hates black people while Cartman hates Jews). The only distinction is that Ruckus, unlike Cartman, is more compassionate and has frequently demonstrated that he has standards when it comes to certain acts.
  • Due to the season’s disrespect for Ruckus’ character development close to the end of season 3, his portrayal in the season 4 was one of several factors the season was reviled and eventually announced non-canon.
  • Uncle Ruckus is commonly considered as the show’s wittiest character due to his absurd and extremely funny actions.
